University of North America (UoNA) Awarded Accreditation by Accrediting
Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)

It is with great pleasure we share with you that on August 18, 2014, the University of North America received formal notification of the award of institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). This award includes our Master’s Programs: MBA, MSCS, MSIT, and our distance education.
Founded in 1912, ACICS is the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions. It is one of only two national accreditors recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
We are grateful to our committees, staff and faculty for their participation and hard work that helped us toward achieving this important goal. We are also indebted to the friends of UoNA who provided us with their support. Additionally, we owe sincere thanks to our students for their tireless academic dedication and for making their individual choice to attend our University.
Copies of the accreditation award letter from ACICS were sent to the U.S. Department of Education and the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). Please follow the links below to access their official lists that include our University as an accredited institution:

The grant of accreditation to UoNA is a confirmation of our continued commitment to the delivery of quality education. Many exciting developments and plans are in the works after crossing over this major milestone. As we pursue our future goals, we will remain fully compliant to the requirements of our educational regulators, including DoE, SCHEV, SEVP and ACICS.
